Thursdays: 1 pm to 4 pm
Fridays: 10 am to 4 pm
Saturdays: 10 am to 4 pm
TOUR COSTS for the Museum and the Zane Grey Cabin:
Adults - $5 each.
Seniors/Veterans - $4 each
Juniors (12-17) - $3 each.
Children under 12 - Free
Active-Duty Military, NGCHS members
and Partnership Museum members - Free
Special GROUP TOURS can be scheduled by calling the Museum or using the Contact Us section below.
Tours of the Rim Country Museum are self-guided.
Tours of the Zane Grey Cabin are docent-led.
Self-guided tour of outdoor exhibits is free. Guide sheets are outside the gift shop.

Hear about Pleasant Valley History with Marilyn Freegard on Tuesday, April 16th
The Museum Speaker Series welcomes Marilyn Freegard, who will share the three phases of settlement in Pleasant Valley in the Young, AZ area. The phases include Native American settlement, the early settlers, and modern development. Visuals from each phase will be shown, as possible. Additionally, the talk will include a brief history of the Pleasant Valley Museum.
Ms. Freegard is a retired middle school teacher and reading specialist from the Creighton School District in Phoenix. She owned property in Young starting in 1988, then built a house and moved in full-time in 1999. After 10 years of retirement, she taught for 5 years in Young as a junior high teacher, retiring again at age 70!
She became a member and volunteer with the Pleasant Valley Historical Society and Museum in 2011, acting as Vice President and then was president for the last 6 years.
