Crossing Trails

Marguerite Noble, the well-known author of Filaree, a novel based on life in the Tonto Basin of Arizona right after the turn of the twentieth century, now gives us Crossing Trails– brief notes of true events that span more than a century of history in the Old West.  For over a year, Noble recorded “moments” of Arizona history on KMOG Radio in Payson.  From her transcripts, Crossing Trails has evolved.  These tidbits of information are entertaining, enlightening, substantive, and seasoned with Noble’s unique wit and humor.  This book is a valuable addition to Arizona history.  (Jayne Peace)
